Meet the team

Jo Gallagher

Jo leads Intospeech Ltd. She qualified in 1990, working with children in community clinics and special schools, before going on to be team leader at the Leeds Children’s Hospital working with children who had a range of acquired and complex needs.

In 2005, Jo began to combine independent work alongside her NHS practice, but left the NHS in 2012 to work as a treating therapist on medico-legal cases.

Kirsty Grayshan-Scott

Kirsty is a children’s speech and language therapist with experience of working in independent practice, specialising in supporting children with neurological conditions, neurodiversity, and in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Kirsty also works with eating and drinking difficulties.

Nibha Bhardwaj

Experienced speech and language therapist, working since 2013, with expertise in communication and swallowing impairments across diverse client groups in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Lucy Hyne

Lucy has over 20 years’ experience of working in both the NHS and independent sectors, in the assessment and treatment of older children through to adults with acquired brain injury and neurological communication and eating/drinking conditions. She has worked in outpatient and community settings and is dedicated to helping clients and families overcome challenges and to improving their quality of life.

Alice Stephenson

Alice qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2024 with a passion for helping children and young people find their voices and communicate with confidence. Before qualifying and during her M.Sc. studies, she worked as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with Intospeech Ltd, where she supported the therapists and families.

Liz Hamilton

Liz has over 20 years’ experience of working in both the NHS and independent sectors, in the assessment and management of paediatric congenital and acquired speech, language and communication difficulties in outpatient, community, and educational settings.
