Case Management & Solicitor Services

Our core business covers:

Treating Therapist
We have a regular caseload as treating therapists, working within West Yorkshire but can travel further afield as requested on complex cases.

Our experience of statutory and independent working with acquired brain injury enables us to plan and deliver speech and language therapy based on an individual client’s potential and need.

We have experience of working in the very early stages of intensive care, right through the rehabilitation process into long-term community support, so we do understand the journeys and transitions that all our clients go through from childhood to adult life.

Expert Witness
Jo also acts as a speech and language therapy expert witness on personal injury and medical negligence claims. Please use the contact us form to enquire about CPR Part 35 compliant reports for children and young adults.

“I have worked with Jo for many years and always valued her involvement as a speech and language therapist as her input has been fundamental in the rehabilitation programme. Jo is excellent at understanding the client’s needs and then working with them to maximise their recovery.”

Family Services

We offer speech and language therapy to children and young adults. Families seek independent therapy for many reasons, including:

• Their child doesn’t fulfil NHS criteria for input
• They are on an NHS waiting list or have been placed on review by NHS services
• They would like more input than the NHS can offer

With your permission, we will liaise with your NHS speech and language therapist so we can work together to help your child reach their potential. Our service is flexible and we will work with you to meet your own individual requirements.

We offer regular therapy sessions or, alternatively, we can provide you with a therapy programme that you can practise at home and have reviewed and updated as agreed. We will discuss the options that are suitable for you at your initial assessment session.

“I like having my sessions. I’ve seen Jo since I was 4 years old. She’s so kind and friendly. I have cerebral palsy. Jo is helping me because people didn’t understand what I was saying, now lots of people understand me. I’ve also learnt to drink through a straw which means I can drink by myself.”
